Bacchus Field, located at the side of the estate building is a ‘blank canvas’ of approximately 3 acres which is ideal for Corporate Away Days/Family days/Team building
The Lawn, at the front of the main building – can accommodate up to 200 guests as a catering space, marquee cover enables your event to take place in any weather system

DENBIES GROUP ACTIVITIES SUGGESTIONS
Vineyard Tour & Canapé Reception
The Outdoor Vineyard Train Tour takes visitors at a leisurely pace, through the vineyard offering magnificent panoramic views over the Vineyard and North Downs. Guests will then be invited to the Cloisters Pavilion for a selected tasting of three of Denbies award winning wines. Canapés will be served during the tasting, allowing guest’s time to enjoy the wine. Tasting notes and guidelines will also be provided. The tour lasts approximately 80 minutes.
Cellar Tasting & Canapé Reception
Flat screen cinema with a 20 minute film ‘A Year in the Vineyard’ and indoor guided tour through the working winery. Selected tasting of six of our award winning wines with canapés. Tasting notes and guidelines will also be provided The tour lasts for approximately 80 minutes.
The Vineyard Tour can be added for an additional £5.00 per person.
Bespoke Blind Wine Tasting & Canapé Reception
Tasting comparison of eight wines tutored by Denbies wine expert. An interesting and lively event which is guaranteed to challenge and enhance most individual’s knowledge of wine! The tour lasts for approximately 100 minutes.
The Vineyard Tour can be added for an additional £5.00 per person.
Apprentice Challenge: Sparkling Wine Vs Champagne Team building Experience
English Sparkling wine rivals Champagne in quality but not market dominance, so like The Apprentice candidates who visited Denbies in 2012, you are set the challenge of creating a brand identity for English Sparkling Wine. The challenge commences in the cinema with a 20 minute film. This is followed by a walking tour through the working winery where you will learn about the different methods of making sparkling wine, followed by a sparkling wine and Champagne tutored tasting in the cellars. The delegates are then split into two teams to come up with a marketing campaign to brand and promote English fizz. The teams will then present their campaign to a specially selected panel.
Denbies was involved in ‘tutoring’ 2012 winner of The Apprentice, and each team will be led by one of the Denbies Team who was involved with assisting in the television programme challenge!
Denbies Vineyard Experience (available at selected times throughout the year)
The October harvest is one of the most significant times in the year of the vineyard. A day of true escapism awaits you at Denbies; experience first hand a snapshot of the life of the grape. This is a rewarding and informative day, guaranteed to give you a long lasting respect for every future glass of wine.

Cheese and Wine Making Experience
Learn all about cheese making with local Norbury Blue cheese maker at their dairy , followed by an insight into wine making with Denbies wine specialist. Full refreshments provided throughout the day. Suitable for parties of 8-30. Duration: 10am to 4.00pm
One day Wine Workshop
What better location to learn and appreciate the world of wine than Denbies Wine Estate, England’s largest vineyard. Denbies One Day Wine Workshop will cover all aspects of wine tasting and appreciation, grapes varieties and wine regions. Denbies One Day Wine Course will be hosted by our Denbies Wine Expert. No prior knowledge is necessary.
The course will include:
- How to taste wine
- What is a ‘blind’ wine tasting – what to look for when tasting different wine styles
- Examples of contrasting wine styles from around the world – Including French, English, Spanish, New World
- Wine and food pairing – the right match?
- Refreshments throughout the day – two course lunch in The Gallery Restaurant with Denbies award winning wine
- Behind the scenes tour of the Winery
