Santa Fun Run
Sunday 10 December, 10:30am start time.
The event is very much a Christmas Fun Run. It isn’t timed and while there are medals and numbers there are no prizes for being first across the line. The numbers are there to identify yourself in the post-race photos because strangely it’s hard to pick out one Santa from another behind the white beards. Free digital downloads of your post-race photos are included in the entry fee. What is also included in the entry fee is a post-run cup of mulled wine and a mince pie (with soft drink options for children).
The run is two laps of a 2.5K route which broadly follows a circular route out and around Denbies main building taking in parts of the North Downs Way on a mixed track of concrete, dirt trails and grass. If you are worried your children won’t manage the full 5K you can do one lap and still earn the medal, mulled wine and mince pie. The route may be a bit muddy under foot as parts of it are on the North Downs Way through a wooded seciton but is suitable for running buggies/ strollers.
Entries close: Thursday 7th December or when the race reaches capacity.
