Denbies offers a wide selection of tours to accommodate your group visit, all of the following include Denbies Indoor Classic Winery Tour and Tasting Experience which is available all year round (please note village Green tour includes the seasonal Outdoor vineyard tour).


Denbies Wine Estate and Painshill Park

Painshill in Cobham, England’s most elegant 18th century landscape garden. The 158 acre wonderland has something for everyone.

Discover the mystical follies, historic plantings, the John Bartram Heritage Collection of North American trees and shrubs (Plant Heritage, NCCPG), and some of Surrey’s amazing wildlife. You will experience a whole series of beautiful scenes which continually change and surprise you.

Denbies Wine Estate and Mayfield Lavender A Day in ‘Provence’ in the heart of the Surrey Hills

Enjoy a day of pure escapism visiting the stunning Mayfield Lavender Fields, 25 acres in the Surrey Downs, combined with Denbies Classic wine tour featuring Denbies Award winning rose.

Denbies and Village Greens Farm Shop (located on the estate)

Combine the outdoor vineyard train tour, learn about the estate, vines & history. Followed by a visit to Denbies Village Greens Farm Shop with a choice of:

Talk 1 – Gardening for Wildlife A one hour talk that will guide you through simple and effective ways to encourage wildlife to visit your garden, even if you only have a window box. Includes wildlife friendly gift to take home.

Talk 2 – Growing your own Cut Flowers A one hour talk that will guide you through the simple steps needed to get started in growing beautiful, natural, environmentally friendly blooms for your home, as gifts and for special occasions. Gift to take home.

Information for groups

  • All joint tours include the ‘Classic wine Tasting Experience’ upgrades are available/price on request
  • Bridge access height restriction: 11’10 (3.6m) – collection from the bridge may be arranged at the time of booking
  • Free car and coach parking/ideal for coffee stops and breaks
  • Disabled parking: Disabled access throughout
  • The Conservatory Restaurant (self service) is open daily for full refreshments and coffee stops
  • The Gallery Restaurant (a la carte) open daily – reservations recommended
  • Table reservations can be made at the time of booking/set menus are available on request

In accordance with current government guidelines,  The Hatch on the Lawn takeaway refreshments and the Wine and Gift Shop (which operates an off-sales licence) are permitted to remain open during the current lockdown.  

Denbies Online Shop is also open for deliveries and click & collect.

All areas open to the public at this time are fully COVID compliant and risk assessments have been independently verified.


If you have made a reservation which may be cancelled due to current government guidelines, you will be contacted via e-mail by Denbies Events Team.  Reception will be closed, therefore the telephones will not be monitored

Unfortunately due to the current government guidelines, the main visitor centre has to remain closed. As the Denbies toilet facilities are located within the building, they are not classed as public toilets and therefore must remain closed. 

Denbies operates an open access policy for visitor to make use of the vineyard for recreational purposes. If anyone has any concerns regarding the limited facilities at this time, we are updating the website regularly and also communicating via email to visitors who have signed up on our website.
