In 2025, Denbies Wine Estate was honoured with a King’s Award for Enterprise for Sustainable Development.
In July 2024, Denbies Wine Estate became B Corp Certified, achieving the highest UK sector score for its commitment to responsible, sustainable business.
Surrey Gold
Since its release in 1993, Denbies Surrey Gold has become one of the UK’s bestselling English wines, earning a loyal following and repeated recognition for its distinctive aromatic style. Its awards over the years stand as a testament to the varietal expression and terroir-driven freshness that define the estate.
Sparkling Achievements
Our traditional method sparkling wines have received consistent recognition over the years. Made using classic Champagne varieties grown across parcels of chalk and flint, they have been awarded Gold and Silver medals, regional and national trophies, and strong ratings from independent critics and judges.
Together, these awards reflect the quality of the fruit, the care taken in production, and the suitability of the Surrey Hills for cool-climate sparkling wine.
Sustainable Honours
Denbies is proud to be the first vineyard and winery in the UK to produce certified Net Zero wine, recognised under the UK Carbon Code of Conduct (UKCCC). This achievement places the estate among a small number of global producers leading the way in climate-positive viticulture.
We are also a founder member of Sustainable Wines of Great Britain, further reinforcing our commitment to responsible farming, biodiversity and transparent winemaking.
