Careers at Denbies

Discover what it is like to work here, with careers, seasonal opportunities and flexible roles across the estate.

One Estate. One Remarkable Team.

Denbies is a working vineyard and winery, but also a hotel, a collection of restaurants and a year-round home for weddings, events, tours and tastings.

That variety is reflected in the people who work here. Some spend their days among the vines, while others work in kitchens, offices, gardens, hotel rooms and busy event spaces. Behind every glass poured, meal served, bedroom prepared and wedding celebrated is a member of our team.

The estate provides the setting. Our people bring it to life.

English Wine Is Growing. So Are the Opportunities.

For four decades, Denbies has been part of the story of English wine. Today, that story reaches far beyond the vineyard and winery.

It includes hospitality, food, tourism, hotels, events, retail, sales and the many teams working behind the scenes to keep a complex estate moving.

That variety creates careers for specialists with years of experience, people looking for a change of direction and those taking their first step into work.

You do not need to arrive knowing everything about wine. In many roles, curiosity, reliability and a willingness to learn matter just as much as previous experience.

Every Career Has a First Day

For some, that first day is a Saturday shift, a university holiday or a part-time role alongside other commitments. For others, it is the first morning of harvest, joining the vineyard or winery teams at one of the most important moments of the year.

These roles can build confidence, practical skills and experience across wine, hospitality, tourism and events. Some people spend much of their working lives at Denbies. Others arrive for a summer, a first job or a change of direction. Every career here begins in the same way. With a first day on the estate.
