E-BIKE CHARGER
This e-bike charger is provided free of charge.
This e-bike charger has been part funded by “Your Fund Surrey” Small Community Projects funding provided by Surrey County Council.

Depending on the size of the e-bike battery, a 50% charge can be achieved in approximately one to two hours.
To use the facility, simply connect your own genuine, approved, and undamaged charger cable to the 3-pin socket
Cycle parking is located in close proximity to the charging station for you to secure your e-bike to.
The e-charger has two charging compartments which can be used simultaneously.
The charging compartments provide two methods for charging.
For E-bikes with detachable batteries:
Simply detach your battery from your bike and connect it to the mounted charging cable inside one of the compartments, lock the compartment with the key provided and enjoy your break.
For E-bikes with integrated batteries:
Simply connect your charger cable to the 3-pin socket and place your charger and cable inside one of the compartments. The remaining cable extends to your bicycle through the small gap provided in the door. Lock the compartment with the key provided and enjoy your break.
Please adhere to the following terms and conditions to ensure safety and proper use. Here are some general guidelines:
1. Accessibility:
– Denbies Public e-bike chargers are free to use and available to all cyclists on the Denbies website.
– Only connect original, undamaged cables, designed specifically for your battery. The charging cabinets are configured for standard 2a chargers. Please do not exceed this usage with ‘rapid chargers’ of above 2a.
2. Usage Guidelines:
– Follow the instructions provided at the charging station for safe and effective use.
– Ensure your e-bike is securely connected to the charger to avoid any interruptions or damage.
3. Safety Precautions:
– Charge your e-bike in a well-ventilated area and avoid leaving it unattended for lengthy periods
– Do not use damaged chargers or cables and report any issues to the service providers.
4. Time Limits:
– Be mindful of these limits and unplug your e-bike once it is fully charged.
5. Environmental Considerations:
– Dispose of any waste, such as packaging or protective covers, to keep the area clean and safe for other users.
6. Legal Compliance:
– Ensure your e-bike complies with local regulations, including speed limits and power restrictions
