April blog – Surrey Day 2020
Spring is a very important time in the vineyard as it sets the scene for the autumn harvest. Each season has its own characteristics and every year we welcome thousands of visitors to enjoy this wonderful process with us.
We are missing you, our valued customers, and we are looking forward to welcoming you back to Denbies as things start to return to normal. In the meantime, to celebrate Surrey Day 2020 we have delved through the archives and have pleasure in bringing you a selection of our favourite images, both past & present.
Bradley Farm, originally a pig & cattle farm, in 1965 versus the current Denbies Estate and visitor centre which is located on the same piece of land
A sweeping shot of the estate, before and after the completion of the visitor centre
The old Farmhouse which now forms part of the Vineyard Hotel. The main characteristics of the Farmhouse remain untouched.
Different machinery reflecting the change in how the land is used.
Originally used as farmland, the estate now homes different types of wildlife and animals! This photo is taken from our annual Bacchus Marathon
The old workshop which is now home to the Surrey Hills Physiotherapy Health & Wellbeing
