ART GALLERY AT DENBIES
We opened our Picture Gallery in 2002 and since then it has been an inspiration for the hundreds of artists and photographers who exhibit in the gallery every week. The Gallery predominantly hosts local artists and is located on the mezzanine level of Denbies reception area, offering a unique space which attracts thousands of visitors each year.

First For Art
First for Art is an inclusive exhibition group, created to ensure all styles of art can be displayed via our exhibitions. The group consists of eight core members: – Dale Sheen, Rue Stanley, Richard Orr, Laurence Berle, Eszter Rigo, Rachel Laving Taylor, Susan Sheen, and Kirsty Mills. At every exhibition, we include space for various guest artists to join us. By encouraging, sharing, and supporting each other, we find the art selected is eclectic, well-priced, and presented to a high standard. As well as original art, we include a selection of prints and cards based on the artists’ original works, offering a wider collection to exhibition visitors.

DC & Friends
DC & Friends are a group of – friends – who are members of several art societies – Fleet, Guildford, Farnham, Surrey Contemporaries and others – our connection being our love of painting. We’re delighted to be at Denbies again, by far our favourite venue, with lots of new work to show, all at very affordable prices.
Our subjects, styles and mediums are extremely varied, and we happily accept commissions if a piece is perhaps not quite the right size or proportions for your home, or you have a favourite scene or subject you would like painted – so please do come and see us – we look forward to meeting you again.

Freedom of Expression: Contemporary Textile Art by CQ Surrey
CQ Surrey turns three in January 2026 and, to celebrate the occasion in style, we are mounting our first major exhibition at the Denbies art gallery. With a nod to our lovely vineyard venue, we will be including work on the theme of Wine. Our exhibition will highlight the diversity of our creative inspirations, methods of making and use of materials. As well as the work on the walls, there will be smaller textile pieces for sale. Come and see how we explore ways of expressing our thoughts and feelings through the joyful, and sometimes subversive, power of stitch.
CQ Surrey (Contemporary Quilters Surrey) is a friendly, inspiring group which meets monthly and welcomes new members at any stage of their quilting journey.
